Our story
We, “Kohloy Chili Sauce” ,is one of the pioneers of Sriracha Chili Sauce. Our sauce is loved and popular among local people. The sauce is inspired by Myanmar people who worked in our wood factory. This started from sharing among family members and distributed to the workers. It was loved and supported by locals Thai and foreigners, until it became commercial for three generations.
Our chili sauce is proudly made with freshly picked chili and premium ingredients. There are no preservatives added, so you could feel free to enjoy it. It has been almost 100 years since Sriracha Chili Sauce has been developed by Thai people. Started from locals in Sriracha town and spread to everywhere in the world.
Background of Sriracha Chili Sauce
Sriracha Chili sauce is originated at Sriracha city, Chonburi province in Thailand.
The original recipe is innovated by 3 local families of Sriracha. At that time, we tried to find out the dipping that lasts long and has senses of sour, sweet, salty and spicy. It all represents the tastes of Thai foods.
We called the sauce as “Nam Prik Sriracha” Nam Prik means chili sauce in Thai language.
